We are proud to announce our Club Captains for 2023 are top squad swimmers Daisy Stuart-Gunter and Thomas Cottrell.
They are there to encourage and support the swimmers. When they are not swimming, you will see them on poolside helping with the younger squads and see them at competitions.
The Club is incredibly proud of all the swimmers who took part on this first weekend of the Counties in a 50m pool including Grace C, Tom C, Rae, Izzy, Imy, Martha, Ella and Grace P. Well done all.
Huge congratulations to Phoebe and Nia who received medals in the Championship Finals of the 50 Free and 200 Butterfly respectively. Nia also swam in the finals of the 100 Breaststroke finishing in silver medal position and the 100 Butterfly winning bronze and the 50 Free and 50 Butterfly finals. Phoebe achieved 5th place in both the 50 and 100 Butterfly finals.
Daisy swam in the 100 Breaststroke final and both James and Chase achieved placings in the 100 butterfly final, a fantastic achievement.
The 2nd weekend saw Chris, Cameron, Monty, Toby, Thomas R and Morgan join their teammates.
Nia achieved Championship medals in 200 Breaststroke final and for her 800 Freestyle and swam in the age group finals of 50 Backstroke and 50 Breaststroke. Phoebe achieved a Championship medal in the 50 Backstroke final and swam in the age group final of the 100 Freestyle. Morgan achieved a place in the age finals of the 50 Breaststroke and 50 Backstroke.
The final weekend on 11 February, morning warm up is 8.00am and afternoon warm up is 12.30pm.

Congratulations to our 23 swimmers who qualified and entered the County Championships, we have swimmers in 30 of the 34 events so well done everyone.

Congratulations to everyone who took part in our last swimming competition of the year, you all did yourselves proud, both in and out of the pool. It was great to see so many personal best times achieved, well done to those who won medals and also to all those who achieved County Qualifying Times, the effort you put in training has paid off.
After all the hard work that the swimmers have put in this year and the intense training and competitions recently, they all deserved some down time.
So a day out in Cardiff for trampolining and a session in the fun pool at Cardiff International Pool on 10th December was in order. Everyone had a great time.

18 February – Cotswold League Gala at Hutton Moor, Weston-Super-Mare for selected swimmers. Doors open 5pm, Coach leaves Cinderford at 3.15pm
